1995 Ford Mustang GT 5.0
“The Convert”
Seems when Chris and Austin became friends Chris was into the whole import tuner scene, not that there’s anything wrong with that! I mean to me it’s all sports it just depends on what team you play on! Some guys like Chevy some Ford some Mopar, Japanese cars are just another team. But after hanging out with Austin and then working for JBA Chris became an American car fan. And he did it in a big way for a 19 year old! Talking with Chris he’s TOTALLY up on the Ford scene. I mean he built this car right, of course with a little help from Jay & co.! I think Chris converted quite nicely as he did a great job on his 5.0 especially for his first time out. I see big things in Chris’s Ford future! I mean even the most seasoned car builders gotta respect what Chris did with her. Here are a few things Chris has done to her. First off he had her painted her Silver Mink which is a color they used on the 1966 Cobra….nice!! Then he went to work under the hood! This original 5.0 now has ported heads, E303 cam, roller rockers 1.7, JBA Headers with 2 ½ inch exhaust and to handle this extra power he installed Koni adjustable shocks, welded frame connectors and 3:73 gears. And just to make the ride a bit easier on the behind SVT Cobra seats were installed just for the finishing touch! You got my stamp of approval for what that’s worth! Rock on my Blue Oval Brutha!
