"Truckzilla"
Truckzilla-- there's just no other way to describe Eric's Lightning. I have had the honor of photographing, recording, and even riding in this magnificent beast, and I will never be the same. Especially after the riding part, where I discovered that it is possible for a human being to grip a car seat so tightly with his buttocks as to prevent him from being thrown from the vehicle in a crash. (Eric-- not to worry. After numerous ride-alongs, I've found that I can offer the following advice to car owners: Using the iron on the "delicate silk" setting will get that pleat right out of the upholstery.)
We'll cover all the technical stuff later, but let me just tell you all that Eric's Lightning churns out a colossal 529 rear wheel horsepower and 615 foot pounds of torque!!! LIke I said, I've ridden in this truck and felt ALL of that horsepower and torque first hand as it pins you back into the seats, leaving your internal organs back on the road somewhere. AND-- his ride is actual show quality and capable (as of this writing) of an 11.99 second pass at the track.
Not only does Eric own this awesome piece of machinery, he also owns a 1993 Lightning, which also appears here on modernmuscle.net. AND-- his wife Michelle owns a 2004 Mustang Mach 1 which ALSO appears here on the site. Guys-- thanks for the hospitality and for providing me with the best photo shoot of my short career. The location you guys picked out was FANTASTIC!
