I'll admit, I came up for this show to meet up with the friends I had made the year before. Being it was a small town I figured I shot everything the year before and there wasn't going to be anything new....no problem the people are worth it!! Boy was I wrong!!! Not only was there new talent but I got a TON of new material for modernmuscle!!! SCORE!!!!! I'm thinking Madera is my magic charm!! It was a bit tough deciding what constitutes as "new muscle" but I judged mainly by smog & emissions controls. By 1971 the EPA had a strong hand in what was being produced. Lower compression ratios, de-tuned motors. I'm sure you could argue with my criteria but it wouldn't do any good.....it's MY site!!!! Once again TONS of cool owners so enjoy some of the rarer Poncho's out here today!!
